Brady Stuart Takes Home League Pitcher of the Year Award
The Futures League has announced today that Bravehearts Starting Pitcher Brady Stuart has been named the 2024 Pitcher of the Year.
The Hudson-Native out of Endicott led The Futures League with a 0.81 ERA and 54 strikeouts on the season. Stuart started the season on a 26-inning scoreless streak, and continued his success throughout the season.
On June 28th, Stuart was one out away from the second complete game no-hitter in league history. Despite a hit with two outs in the 9th, Stuart finished the complete game shutout and got the win for the Bravehearts.
This is the second time a Worcester Bravehearts player has won pitcher of the year, with the first being Angelo Baez in 2019.
